Owner, Head Coach, General Manager- Alex Armstrong

Alex Armstrong purchased the Pembroke Lumber Kings in the summer of 2019 from Dale McTavish.  Like many Junior A owners, Armstrong has taken on the role of head coach and general manager of the club.  After playing with the Brockville Braves of the Central Canada Hockey League, Armstrong moved into coaching following his playing career. He has coached the Trenton Sting and Smiths Falls Bears and also had assistant coaching roles with the Hawkesbury Hawks, the Braves and the Royal Military College in Kingston.

Club President and Director of Education-Gary McGee

Gary McGee was announced as the Lumber Kings Director of Education and Alternate Governor on May 27, 2021.  McGee has a proven track record as an educational advisor having spent many years with the Carleton Place Canadians where he helped more than 100 players secure scholarships to play NCAA hockey in the United States. He is also the General Manager for the Lumber Kings U-18 team. In July, McGee was also promoted to the team's President.

Assistant Coaches-Joe Arruda and Gerry Leblanc

Joe Arruda and Gerry Leblanc have joined the Lumber Kings organization for the 2023-24 season and will be supporting head coach Alex Armstrong as the team's assistant coaches. Both Leblanc and Arruda are members of the Canadian Armed Forces and stationed at Garrison Petawawa.

Trainer/Equipment Manager- Rodney Stewart

Rodney Stewart is the Lumber Kings trainer and equipment manager.  He joined the club a couple of years ago in a role that his father, Dennis Stewart, held for many years with the Lumber Kings in the 1970's and 80's.

Skating and Skills Coach-Lucas Lawson

Lucas Lawson joins the Pembroke Lumber Kings coaching staff for the 2022-23 season in the new role of Skating and Skills coach.
