Director Communications- Geoff Patterson
Geoff is the longest tenured Lumber Kings staffer, having served the team in many different capacities over the years; player, trainer, assistant coach and manager. Geoff is a true member of the team. His current regular duties for the club involve in house public address announcing at the PMC for home games and calling play-by-play for local radio on the road with the team. Geoff is also the go-to guy who will answer your inquiries regarding community relations.
Patterson is an active on ice official in the ODMHA and resides in Whitewater Region with his wife Laurie and is the proud father of Rob and Jane.
Operations/Office Manager- Maureen Duhamel
Maureen Duhamel
Hailing from the 'Rock', Maureen spent her childhood working alongside her father, an ice rink operator in central Newfoundland, Canada. Maureen arrived in the Pembroke area when transferred with the Armed Forces to Garrison Petawawa. Understanding rink life, knowing what needs to be done, and her commitment to being a team player within the ranks of the volunteer core, Maureen won the coveted PLK Volunteer of the Year award in 2015.
Today Maureen holds a major role with Club as Operations Manager. She has set an exceptional high standard of performance with her tireless work ethic and dedication to providing exceptional service to players, fans and supporters alike.
Maureen, her husband Joe and their young daughters, are dedicated PLK fans, often following the team on the road throughout the season.
