Pembroke Midget AAA holds on for 5-3 win against CIHA White Midget AAA

The CIHA White Midget AAA White tried to dig themselves out of a three-goal hole, but the Pembroke Midget AAA Lumber Kings held on for a 5-3 victory.

Pembroke Midget AAA made the score 5-2 on a goal by Noah Maika at 15:48 in the third period, and CIHA White Midget AAA got as close as 5-3 when Pavel Gogolev scored 16:41 into the third period.

The Lumber Kings outdid their season average for goals scored. Pembroke Midget AAA has scored at the pace of 2.3 goals per game during the current campaign. The Lumber Kings’ penalty kill unit could not stop the White’s power play, which converted on two of three opportunities.
